Shelley D. Walls, PhD, BCBAClinical DirectorDr. Shelley Walls serves as the Clinical Director of the Behavioral Science Center, providing direct supervision over the treatment plans of clients in the vicinity of Columbus, GA. Her doctorate degree is in rehabilitation and special education (PhD) from Auburn University. In addition to her PhD, she has worked as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2016. Her work experience includes serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families as a behavior analyst in their homes and serving as a school consultant for inclusion fidelity and the development of positive behavior support plans. Dr. Walls also has experience as an elementary classroom teacher, inclusion teacher, early interventionist, and as an instructor and supervisor for graduate students pursuing a career in special education or early intervention. Dr. Walls has received extensive training in trauma informed treatment to contribute to the reduction of dangerous behaviors. She leads the team at the Behavioral Science Center to pursue a high level of expectations towards treatment excellence, treatment fidelity, and integrity of practice.
