Nicole Hilmes, CCC-SLP, BCBA
Speech-Language Pathologist & Behavior AnalystMrs. Nicole Hilmes is a licensed speech-language pathologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on the Behavioral Science Center team. Nicole earned her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Ithaca College, NY and has over 27 years experience as a speech language pathologist in a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in neurological disorders, such as traumatic brain injury, dysphagia, aphasia, and autism. She earned her certification as a BCBA in 2009 from the University of North Texas and served as a clinical director in Texas for 3 years before founding her own Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) center in Georgia, where she served as clinical director for more than 11 years. Her work experience includes serving individuals with developmental disabilities as a behavior analyst in both home and clinical settings. She provides early intervention through the Georgia Babies Can't Wait program and has also supervised graduate students pursuing a career in ABA. A career military spouse, Nicole is a dedicated advocate of the Exceptional Family Member Program at both the local and national levels.
